Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Chartered Civil Engineer to support the design and construction of a major multimodal transport terminal project.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering works, ensuring construction quality, coordinating with project stakeholders, monitoring compliance with technical specifications, and supporting the successful delivery of building-related project activities. This role requires strong experience in building projects, civil engineering standards, site coordination, and construction supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Civil Engineering & Construction Supervision

• Oversee civil engineering works related to building construction and infrastructure development.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within agreed timelines and quality requirements.
• Review construction methods, technical details, and site execution plans.
• Identify technical issues on-site and recommend practical engineering solutions.

Project Coordination & Quality Control

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Support design coordination and ensure technical requirements are properly implemented on-site.
• Monitor quality control procedures and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Conduct site inspections and support the resolution of construction-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation related to site progress, inspections, and technical approvals.

Compliance, Safety & Reporting

• Ensure project works comply with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Support risk identification and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure all civil works are aligned with project objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.

Candidate Profile

• Chartered Engineer qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of total work experience after graduation.
• Minimum 8 years of specific experience in building projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction methods, and project execution.
• Experience in large-scale building, infrastructure, transport terminal, or public development projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong site supervision, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Good understanding of quality, safety, and compliance requirements in construction projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage project deadlines effectively.
