Role Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented, self-motivated, and dynamic Brand Manager to lead brand strategy, marketing planning, consumer insights, and promotional execution within the footwear and retail sector.
The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying consumer and industry trends, developing brand strategies, executing marketing campaigns, coordinating with internal teams, and working with external agencies to strengthen brand positioning and achieve annual brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Market Insights
- Continuously identify industry trends, consumer trends, and competitor activities.
- Develop and formulate effective brand strategies based on market insights.
- Conduct consumer research and monitor consumer-related trends.
- Carry out consumer and market visits to identify gaps and develop tactical action plans.
Marketing Planning & Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute the marketing mix and promotional calendar to achieve annual brand objectives.
- Implement brand-related communication strategies in collaboration with external agencies.
- Coordinate with relevant departments on demand planning and channel promotional activities.
- Ensure marketing activities are aligned with brand positioning and business goals.
Reporting & Performance Evaluation
- Prepare and circulate monthly and quarterly information to management for decision-making.
- Carry out post-evaluations of sales and marketing activities.
- Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements for future initiatives.
- Support data-driven decision-making through accurate reporting and insights.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, marketing, demand planning, and channel teams.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Support brand development initiatives and ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
- Maintain strong communication across departments to deliver brand objectives effectively.
Candidate Profile
- Age between 26 and 34 years.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from a recognized institute, or fully qualified professional qualification such as CIM.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG marketing.
- Knowledge of category management and finance management will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and consumer data.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
- Creative, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple marketing activities and meet deadlines.
- Strong business acumen with a consumer-centric mindset.
