Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage all cost and commercial aspects of construction and fit-out projects. This role focuses on cost estimation, contract administration, procurement, and financial control, particularly in fast-paced retail and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction and fit-out projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements for accurate costing
  
• Conduct site measurements and monitor project progress
• Manage contracts, variations, and change orders
  
• Evaluate contractor claims and negotiate final settlements
• Track project costs, prepare reports, and manage budgets
  
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Coordinate procurement and manage vendor relationships
  
• Work closely with architects, designers, and project teams
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  
• Support multiple projects and ensure timely project completion

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8–12+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in retail fit-outs or construction projects
• Professional certification such as RICS will be an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost management
• Expertise in BOQ preparation and cost estimation
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and cost management software
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
