Role Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated and target-driven Executive – Sales to support sales growth, customer relationship management, market development, and distribution-channel engagement within the travel and tourism sector.
The selected candidate will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, implementing sales strategies, identifying market opportunities, and supporting business growth through proactive client engagement and market awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Enhance customer relationships through effective communication and account management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth across distribution channels.
- Identify new sales opportunities and support customer acquisition initiatives.
- Promote travel, tourism, aviation, and related service offerings to customers and business partners.
- Conduct customer visits, follow-ups, and sales discussions to generate new business.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel-related solutions.
- Prepare and share quotations, proposals, service information, and sales updates when required.
- Follow up on inquiries, leads, quotations, and pending customer decisions.
- Support the achievement of assigned sales targets and business-development objectives.
- Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Conduct market research to maintain strong market awareness.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity updates, and follow-up details.
- Prepare sales reports, customer updates, and market feedback for management.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and support timely issue resolution.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
- Work independently while supporting team goals and business growth priorities.
- Perform any other sales or customer-related duties assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in frontline sales, customer service, business development, or a related client-facing role.
- Experience in travel, tourism, aviation, hospitality, destination management, or service-based sales will be an advantage.
- Strong customer relationship management and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned sales activities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala is required.
- Fluency in Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Strong market awareness and willingness to conduct market research.
- Ability to build trust and maintain long-term professional relationships.
- Good planning, coordination, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and customer-focused business environment.
