Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional and transformational Group Chief Supply Chain Officer to lead enterprise-wide supply chain strategy, operations, transformation, governance, and performance across a large diversified business group.

The selected candidate will be responsible for driving supply chain excellence across demand and supply planning, procurement, strategic sourcing, warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, commercial clearance, and end-to-end supply chain transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the group-wide supply chain strategy and transformation agenda.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple business units.
• Drive enterprise-wide improvements in procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and supply operations.
• Build world-class supply chain operating systems, governance structures, and performance frameworks.
• Improve supply chain reliability, resilience, scalability, and cost efficiency across the group.
• Lead demand planning and supply planning to ensure product availability, service levels, and business continuity.
• Strengthen procurement and strategic sourcing practices to improve cost, quality, supplier performance, and risk management.
• Oversee warehousing, distribution, logistics, and transportation operations.
• Improve commercial clearance processes and ensure efficient import, export, and regulatory coordination.
• Drive measurable productivity improvements and cost efficiencies across the supply chain.
• Partner closely with CEOs, Finance, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Business Leaders to align supply chain priorities with business objectives.
• Lead large-scale transformation, restructuring, and operational integration initiatives.
• Implement digital supply chain tools, ERP systems, analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making practices.
• Monitor supplier performance, inventory levels, service levels, lead times, logistics costs, and delivery performance.
• Establish and track KPIs across supply chain functions to improve accountability and execution excellence.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans to protect business continuity.
• Drive innovation in supply chain processes, systems, and operating models.
• Lead large, complex, and multi-functional teams across supply chain operations.
• Build a high-performance culture centered on accountability, collaboration, execution excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Influence Board, C-suite, and senior leadership stakeholders on supply chain strategy and transformation priorities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and governance practices.
• Represent the supply chain function in strategic leadership discussions and major business decisions.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• MBA or internationally recognized professional qualification will be a distinct advantage.
• Minimum 15 to 20 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, operations, procurement, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or related functions.
• Senior leadership exposure within a large, diversified, multinational, manufacturing, distribution, FMCG, trading, or conglomerate environment.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end supply chain operations at enterprise or group level.
• Strong expertise in procurement, demand planning, supply planning, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and supply operations.
• Experience in commercial clearance, import/export operations, and regulatory coordination will be an advantage.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to deliver productivity improvements, cost efficiencies, and operational excellence.
• Experience in large-scale transformation, restructuring, operational integration, and process modernization.
• Experience with ERP systems, analytics, automation, and digital supply chain transformation.
• Strong strategic leadership presence with the ability to influence Board and C-suite stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex, and multi-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder-management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and change-leadership abilities.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and diversified business environment.
