Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to establish and lead the HR function for a growing service business with 50+ employees. This role involves setting up HR systems, driving performance and culture, and implementing policies and compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HR operations, employee relations, and digital HR solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage HRIS for leave, attendance, employee files, and performance reviews.
- Implement KPIs and appraisal cycles with documented outcomes.
- Develop and enforce HR policies and compliance standards (attendance, OT, leave, code of conduct, discipline, claims).
- Launch training plans covering technical, soft skills, and leadership basics.
- Handle employee relations, discipline processes, and grievance management.
- Drive culture change focusing on accountability, compliance, and communication.
- Oversee attendance and payroll governance (supported by admin staff).
- Introduce motivation, communication, and recognition programs.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of HR experience with full-cycle exposure in SMEs or service environments.
- Proven success in implementing HRIS, policies, KPI/appraisal systems, and engagement programs.
- Strong skills in employee relations and discipline management.
- Qualifications: PQHRM / SHRM / CIPD (one or more).
- Comfortable working on-site and partnering closely with operations.
Nice to Have
- Experience in HR digitization initiatives.
- Familiarity with ISO-aligned documentation practices.
