Role Overview

We are seeking a technically knowledgeable and commercially driven Business Development, Solutions Lead, Technical Textile to support business growth, client acquisition, and solution based sales within the chemical trading and technical textile sector.

The selected candidate will be responsible for attracting new clients, developing commercial solutions, building strong client relationships, preparing proposals and presentations, and translating technical product specifications into clear business value propositions. This role is ideal for a candidate with knowledge of chemistry, textile technology, textile manufacturing processes, and strong interest in B2B sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Client Acquisition

• Attract new clients by identifying business opportunities and presenting innovative solutions.
• Contribute to expanding the business across technical textile and related industrial markets.
  
• Develop new customer relationships through proactive lead generation and follow up.
• Support the conversion of prospects into long term clients through solution based selling.
  
• Achieve and surpass sales goals by securing agreements and contracts with new clients.

Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Understand client requirements, technical needs, and business challenges.
  
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely communication and professional support.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to identify new requirements and growth opportunities.
  
• Uphold transparency, trust, and integrity in all client interactions.

Technical Solution Selling

• Understand and translate technical product specifications into commercial value propositions.
• Present suitable chemical and technical textile solutions based on customer requirements.
  
• Use knowledge of textile manufacturing processes to support client 
• discussions and solution recommendations.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical, relevant, and commercially viable.

Proposals, Presentations and Sales Support

• Develop and present proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients.
• Prepare commercial documents and business development materials as required.
  
• Communicate product benefits, technical advantages, and business value clearly to customers.
• Collaborate with management to formulate and execute business development strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Textile Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B sales, marketing, solution based sales, chemical sales, textile related sales, or technical product sales will be an added advantage.
  
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes.
  
• Ability to understand technical product specifications and convert them into commercial value propositions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships.
• Self motivated, target driven, and eager to learn.
  
• Strong coordination, follow up, and reporting skills.
• High level of honesty, integrity, and professional ethics.
  
• Ability to work with management teams and support business development strategies.
