WE ARE HIRING: Quality Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Quality Manager to lead and oversee all quality control operations across production processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet internal and external specifications and are consistently manufactured to the highest standards. This role will focus heavily on inspection, testing, defect analysis, and team leadership to maintain product quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective quality control procedures, inspection protocols, and testing methods.
• Supervise daily QC activities including incoming materials inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the companys Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead internal and external quality audits, and manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Lead and train a team of QC inspectors and technicians to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
• Monitor production quality at various stages, ensuring conformance to product specifications and standards.
• Manage and report non-conformance issues, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment, tools, and lab instruments.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and procurement to address quality issues proactively.
• Establish and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, scrap, rework, first-pass yield).
• Review and approve QC documentation including batch records, test reports, and certificates of analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, customer-specific requirements).
• Support internal and external audits related to QC processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of work experience as Quality Manager or in a similar role in an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 certified company.
• Formal training in ISO 9001 QMS theories, practical application, implementation, and auditing.
• Minimum 10 years of overall quality control experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven experience managing QC teams and driving improvements in product quality.
• Strong knowledge of inspection and testing methods (visual, dimensional, functional, etc.).
• Familiarity with quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Control Charts.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and product specifications.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills using Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and leadership skills.
