WE ARE HIRING: FULL-STACK DEVELOPER


Working Hours: noon 9:00 PM (Negotiable)
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka
Salary: Based on skills and experience 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable, maintainable software solutions using Laravel and/or React JS

  • Develop clean, responsive front-end interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Implement back-end business logic, APIs, and database structures using Laravel (or similar PHP frameworks)

  • Write efficient SQL queries and ensure database best practices (ACID compliance, normalization)

  • Consume and build RESTful APIs for seamless front-end/back-end integration

  • Collaborate closely with a global team on requirements, project planning, and documentation

  • Take ownership of assigned features, from design to deployment

  • Debug, test, and optimize performance across platforms

  • Stay updated with the latest web technologies and trends

Technical Requirements:

Strong experience in Laravel or React JS (must specify when applying)
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation
Understanding of modular programming principles, MVC architecture
Experience with SQL, ORM, and relational database management
Familiarity with REST API design and integration

Nice to Have:

  • WordPress, Microsoft Excel integration, AWS, CI/CD tools

  • Third-party API integrations

  • Experience with database design and optimization

Attributes & Experience:

  • 4+ years of commercial experience in software development

  • Minimum 2 years using Laravel or React JS (preferably both)

  • Strong English communication skills,  written and verbal

  • Hands-on experience delivering real-world Laravel or React projects

  • Proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset

  • Collaborative team player with the ability to give and receive feedback

  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies

  • High attention to detail and coding standards

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure

Desirable:

  • Degree in Software Engineering or related field

  • Experience with writing tests (PHP/JS), documenting technical specs, and working with stakeholders
