WE ARE HIRING: Sales Agent

Role Overview

Our client is one of the fastest-growing family-owned call centres in Sri Lanka, making outbound phone sales for one of the largest wholesale wine distributors in Australia.

The Sales Agent will be responsible for outbound sales, including upselling and cross-selling products while maintaining positive business relationships to ensure repeat and future sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dial outbound calls through the CRM database
  • Disposition each call outcome accurately
  • Identify and escalate customer issues to the customer service team
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to each customer
  • Meet daily and fortnightly sales quotas
  • Maintain a basic understanding of wine products

Workplace Standards

  • Be on time to work each day
  • No phones on desk
  • No third-party websites while making calls
  • Avoid distracting others on the sales floor during working hours
  • Maintain appropriate levels of cleanliness and hygiene

Communication & Professional Conduct

  • Demonstrate clear and concise oral and written communication
  • Demonstrate active listening skills
  • Maintain an optimistic and positive approach when dealing with colleagues
  • Demonstrate ability to self-regulate emotions
