WE ARE HIRING : Head of Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

  • Develop and implement best practices to drive production efficiency and quality.

  • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Strategic Planning & Process Optimization

  • Design and execute strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership for long-term manufacturing planning.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to local and international quality standards and certifications.

  • Monitor compliance with textile regulations and implement corrective measures when needed.

  • Lead initiatives for continuous quality assurance and improvement.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled production workforce.

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.

  • Work closely with HR for talent acquisition, training, and performance management.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials.

  • Optimize inventory management to reduce waste and operational costs.

  • Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

  • Uphold workplace health and safety standards.

  • Promote sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing practices.

  • Conduct regular audits and organize safety training sessions.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties aligned with the role as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • A Masters degree would be a distinct advantage.

  • CIMA or CIM qualifications would be an added advantage.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in textile manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven expertise in production planning, quality control, and lean manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
