WE ARE HIRING: SAP ABAP Developer 

Job Type : Full Time
Work Setup : Onsite (Colombo)
Shift timing : Regular day shift
Experience 4- 8 years 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop technical solutions impacting SAP XI/PO, UI5, and ABAP to meet dynamic business requirements.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues and incidents in coordination with ABAP support teams.

  • Develop, test, and maintain system interfaces with external applications ensuring smooth integration.

  • Create and support ABAP/4 objects including reports, interfaces, extensions, forms, and workflows.

  • Design and develop SAP UI5 applications and Core Data Services (CDS) views for enhanced user experiences.

  • Build and maintain ABAP/4 objects across SAP core modules such as MM, SD, LE, PP, QM, FI, CO, PM, and PS.

  • Implement innovative solutions utilizing SAP's latest UI5 and Fiori technologies.

  • Perform custom SAPUI5 application development, troubleshooting, and Fiori extensions.

  • Apply strong front-end development skills including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and HTML5.

  • Leverage SAP Cloud Platform knowledge, including Portal Service, Web IDE Development, and integration with additional services.

  • Provide expert-level design for SAP integrations with external/internal systems, including EDI and SAP Middleware (SAP PO/SO).

  • Work extensively on OOPs ABAP, SAP Fiori, Adobe Forms, ALE/IDOC, Web Services, and SAP UI5 components.

  • Manage EDI mapping with SAP IDOC and develop customized coding solutions as needed.

  • Collaborate effectively in Onshore/Offshore models and handle interface-related tasks efficiently.

  • Communicate clearly across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and successful project execution.

Requirements:

  • Design & Develop Technical solutions for business requirements impacting XI/PO, UI5, and ABAP .

  • Design and develop UI5 objects and CDS views.
  • Develop and maintain ABAP/4 objects for core modules (MM, SD, LE, PP, QM, FI, CO, PM, PS).
  • Design and implement new solutions using SAP's latest UI5 / Fiori technologies.
  • Custom SAPUI5 Application Development and Troubleshooting; Fiori Extensions & next gen UI.
  • Expertise and proven ability in Java script, jQuery, CSS3, HTML 5.
  • SAP Cloud Platform - Overview; Knowledge of Portal Service, Web and IDE Development, Exposure to other services.
  • Strong solution design experience in SAP integration with external and internal systems including EDI, SAP Middleware experience including SAP PO/SO.
  • Experience in OOPS BAAP, SAP Fiori, Adobe Forms, SAP ALE/IDOC, SAP UI5, Webservices.
  • Strong knowledge to do the EDI mapping with SAP IDOC and develop any customization code.
  • Good experience working on Onshore/Offshore model Should have experience in working with Interfaces to SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate.
