Job Title : Senior Executive 4PL ( Supply Chain Industry )

Location : Colombo, Sri Lanka

Work Days : Monday to Friday 

Working Hours : 45 hours per week including a 01 hour meal break

Work Type : Onsite

Responsibilities : 

• Oversee the provision of Air / Ocean freight intermediary services to customers
  Continuously enhance Air / Ocean operational procedures
• Map company process flows and continuously review to identify efficiency gains
• Lead negotiation of rates and contracts with service providers seeking for multiple options and reliable solutions
• Work on the trade lanes to optimize customers end-to-end transportation solutions
• Stay current with developments and changes in applicable laws, regulations and other government requirements
• Access information to identify and solve logistical problems in the customer supply chain for both raw materials and finished goods
• Booking management and planning by proactively highlight any issues
• Meet the volumes and financial goals by growing existing business and/or by seizing new opportunities

Requirements :

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Logistics Management or related field will be advantageous 
• Minimum 5+ years of Air/Ocean freight forwarding experience
• Minimum 3+ years of NVOCC and special projects experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations and other government requirements
• Proven ability to establish or enhance Air/Ocean operational functions
• Results oriented with the drive to grow an international Air/Ocean freight forwarding business
• Experience participating in the creation of strategic planning initiatives
• Strong analytical skills with a systematic problem-solving approach
