Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts and Finance Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical abilities, proficiency in financial reporting, and a strong command of English for clear communication. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., SLFRS/IFRS).

- Develop and maintain financial models to support credit rating assessments and internal budgeting processes.
- Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to generate insightful financial reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial insights and credit rating rationales to clients and internal teams.
- Assist in audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance activities in coordination with external auditors and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka.
- Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and contribute to the agencys thought leadership in financial markets.
- Stay updated on global financial trends and regulatory changes to enhance LRAs rating methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a related field, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Excellent English language skills (written and verbal) for drafting reports, presentations, and client communications.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating professional, visually appealing presentations.

- Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data visualization and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
