Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paraplanner to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting tailored financial plans, completing administrative tasks, and delivering high-quality service to financial advisers. You will produce Statements of Advice (SOAs) in line with Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) standards, demonstrate strong knowledge of Australian insurance and investment products, and stay updated with evolving financial and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Statements of Advice (SOA) and Records of Advice (ROA) based on advisers instructions

• Ensure SOAs are compliant with all legislative and regulatory requirements and delivered within deadlines

• Conduct detailed research on financial products, strategies, and technical financial planning topics

• Liaise with product providers to gather updated product information

• Perform financial modeling to present comparative financial scenarios for clients

• Demonstrate strong knowledge and application of superannuation strategies

• Administer and maintain client portfolio documentation

• Implement compliance procedures and support audit processes

️ Experience and Skills

• Previous experience as a Paraplanner, including preparing SOAs

• Familiarity with financial planning software such as XPLAN, Midwinter AdviceOS, and Worksorted (preferred)

• Strong technical expertise across insurance, investments, and superannuation strategies

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

• Accounting qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or an Accounting Degree (CPA qualification is an added advantage)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools

• Commitment to continuous professional development and technical upskilling
