Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented, and analytical Senior Functional Consultant – Finance Solutions to support finance technology transformation, ERP system implementation, and process improvement within a BPO environment.

The selected candidate should have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a clear interest in transitioning into a finance technology functional role. This role is ideal for a finance professional with practical accounting experience who is motivated to expand their expertise into ERP systems, finance solutions, and digital process improvements. Structured training will be provided to support this transition and ensure success in the role.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Process & Functional Support

• Support finance system implementation and functional solution activities.
• Understand finance processes and translate business requirements into system requirements.
• Work closely with finance, technology, and operations teams to support system improvements.
• Provide functional support across core finance areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, fixed assets, and month-end closing.
• Assist in identifying finance process gaps and recommending system-based improvements.

ERP & Finance Systems Support

• Support configuration, testing, and user acceptance activities related to finance systems.
• Assist users in understanding finance system workflows and process changes.
• Support documentation of finance processes, system requirements, and user guidance materials.
• Work with technical teams to ensure finance requirements are properly understood and implemented.
• Support continuous improvement of ERP and finance technology processes.

Reporting, Analysis & Process Improvement

• Analyze finance data and support reporting requirements.
• Assist in preparing process improvement recommendations to improve accuracy, efficiency, and control.
• Support finance transformation initiatives and automation opportunities.
• Maintain high accuracy in documentation, reporting, and system-related finance activities.
• Help ensure finance processes are aligned with business requirements and operational standards.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with finance users, implementation teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly with business users to understand issues, requirements, and improvement needs.
• Support training, knowledge sharing, and smooth adoption of finance systems.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of project tasks.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Hands-on finance experience within a manufacturing environment will be preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of core finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, and month-end closing.
• Part qualification in CA or CIMA will be an added advantage.
• Experience or strong interest in ERP systems and process improvements.
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn finance technology and functional consulting.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
