Role Overview
We are seeking a confident and people-focused Team Manager to lead a team of Subject Matter Experts within a fast-paced IT/BPM service environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing team performance, supporting project delivery, coordinating with clients, mentoring team members, and ensuring project deadlines are met with accuracy and quality. This role requires strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and manage a team of Subject Matter Experts to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Coach, guide, and mentor team members to improve performance and productivity.
- Support team development through regular feedback, performance monitoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Build a positive and collaborative team environment focused on accountability and results.
Client Communication & Coordination
- Correspond professionally with clients through verbal and written communication.
- Understand client requirements and ensure they are communicated clearly to the team.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure client expectations are met.
- Support issue resolution and maintain professional client relationships.
Project Delivery & Deadline Management
- Ensure assigned tasks and project deliverables are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Work under pressure while maintaining quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Monitor daily workflow, identify gaps, and take corrective actions when required.
- Support project execution by ensuring proper coordination between team members and management.
Problem Solving & Operational Support
- Analyze operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.
- Handle escalations and support timely resolution of project-related issues.
- Work with minimum supervision while maintaining ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Support process improvements to enhance team efficiency and service delivery quality.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in team management, operations, service delivery, BPM, IT services, or a similar environment.
- Experience in leading or supervising a team will be an advantage.
- Ability to lead a team of Subject Matter Experts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Good coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong planning, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Professional attitude with a strong focus on quality and delivery.
