Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven and well-networked Sales & Marketing Manager to lead sales growth, business development, customer relationship management, and marketing initiatives within the bathware, sanitaryware, plumbing products, and building materials sector.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and construction project stakeholders, and driving revenue growth through strong industry knowledge and strategic market engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and building materials sector.
  • Promote bathware, sanitaryware, plumbing products, and related building material solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, project managers, and construction industry stakeholders.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new project opportunities.
  • Engage with construction projects from early specification stage through quotation, negotiation, supply, and after-sales coordination.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to understand product requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, product presentations, and commercial offers.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and commercial agreements.
  • Monitor project pipelines and ensure timely follow-up on leads, inquiries, quotations, and pending decisions.
  • Drive sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth across assigned customer segments.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing movements, customer needs, and construction sector developments.
  • Develop marketing initiatives to improve brand visibility, product awareness, and market presence.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability, delivery coordination, customer service, and issue resolution.
  • Support showroom, dealer, project, and corporate customer activities when required.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales pipelines, project updates, and performance reports.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, market updates, competitor insights, and management reports.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
  • Maintain professionalism, transparency, and ethical business practices in all customer dealings.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field will be preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing management within bathware, sanitaryware, plumbing products, building materials, construction supplies, or a related industry.
  • Strong existing network within the construction sector is required.
  • Experience dealing with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, project owners, and construction professionals is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of project sales, specification selling, tender support, and construction-project sales cycles.
  • Experience supplying products to construction projects, residential developments, commercial buildings, hotels, apartments, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, negotiate deals, and close sales.
  • Strong business development, account management, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Good understanding of market trends, competitor products, pricing, and customer requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage margins, pricing, and customer profitability.
  • Ability to lead sales initiatives and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong planning, reporting, follow-up, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using CRM or sales tracking systems will be an advantage.
  • Professional, proactive, target-oriented, and capable of building long-term industry relationships.
