Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer / Master Marine to oversee ship operations, maintenance, and compliance for marine engineering projects. This role involves supervising technical operations, ensuring adherence to international standards, and managing relationships with port authorities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage technical and operational aspects of company vessels.
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Maintain compliance with IMO, ISM, MARPOL, and Flag State regulations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules, repairs, and dry-docking operations.
• Manage vessel engineering records and ensure adherence to international standards.
• Lead vessel crew and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with port authorities, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Monitor and enhance reliability of systems and ship supply services.

Requirements

• 1012 years of experience in senior marine engineering roles (tankers, bunker barges, or equivalent vessels).
• Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and international regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Sri Lankan ports and bunkering operations is an advantage.
