Role Overview
- We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager – Human Resources to oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR operations while supporting organizational growth and employee development. This role will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, managing the employee life cycle, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and supporting management in making effective people-related decisions.
- The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing HR functions while leading and guiding junior HR team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee end-to-end HR functions across the employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Implement HR strategies and policies aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related matters and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local labor legislation and statutory HR requirements.
- Manage employee records, HR documentation, and HR administrative processes.
- Support talent development initiatives including training, performance evaluations, and career development programs.
- Handle employee grievances and maintain effective communication between employees and management.
- Supervise and guide junior HR team members including HR Executives or Interns.
- Assist in developing HR policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.
- Maintain strong organizational culture by promoting professional HR practices and employee engagement activities.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience handling overall HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience in Strategic Human Resource Management.
- Sound knowledge of labor legislation and compliance requirements.
- Ability to independently manage HR operations with the support of junior HR team members.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Professional presence with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
