Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Manager / Senior Manager Business Development to define marketable propositions for the Colombo Port City Special Economic Zone (CPCSEZ) and drive IT sector investments. This role involves developing strategic relationships, facilitating partnerships, and implementing industry-specific strategies to penetrate international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Define marketable propositions for CPCSEZ based on research and global trends.
• Develop strategic relationships with local and international entities to facilitate partnerships.
• Advise and facilitate sector-specific investments with end-to-end engagement.
• Recommend and implement strategies for international market penetration, including roadshows and events.
• Provide proactive solutions to address industry and investor concerns.
• Develop and present strategies and plans to senior management for promotion and business development.
• Assist potential investors in creating business models and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with prospective investors.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT sector strategy, consulting, and business development.
• Experience in IT Global Delivery/Capability Centres, FinTech, EdTech preferred.
• Exposure to multinational services businesses and international markets; familiarity with Indian IT sector is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of tax, regulatory, and legal environments.
• Proven ability in client-facing roles, negotiation, and closing prospects.
• Strong business development background and willingness to travel internationally.
