We Are Hiring - AML/CFT Officer /Information Technology Expert

Responsibilities

• Manage goAML technical operations, supporting the Financial Data Management Division (FDMD) of the FIU in handling data reporting workflows from Reporting Institutions (RIs).
• Collaborate with FDMD teams to resolve reporting issues, conduct data validations, and improve submission quality.
• Work with RIs and internal teams to clarify goAML schema requirements and reporting model logic.
• Adapt to backend (FDMD-side) functions of goAML and ensure smooth operational efficiency.
• Provide technical input to strengthen automation, integration, and security of financial data handling processes.
• Assist in developing scripts, queries, and analytical tools for strategic analysis and reporting validation.
• Contribute to technical documentation and Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) for goAML-related operations.
• Support capacity building by transferring knowledge and mentoring junior FDMD staff.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field; OR

• Professional certifications in AML/CFT compliance (e.g., ACAMS).

Experience

• Retired senior IT professional from the banking industry, with sufficient knowledge of AML/CFT concepts and FIU operational requirements.
• Sound understanding of the goAML system or similar reporting systems, including reporting workflows, databases, XML reporting standards, and system integration.
• Minimum 15 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in the banking sector; OR
• Officers retired or voluntarily resigned before retirement age with equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills / Competencies

• Hands-on experience in regulatory reporting systems or core banking data architecture.
• Prior exposure to backend/data management side of goAML (highly advantageous).

• Experience in developing technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides.

• Strong ability to work independently, delivering high-quality technical outputs with minimal supervision.
