Role Overview

We are seeking a result-oriented and experienced Manager - Sales Dealer Warehouse to manage and drive sales operations within an assigned territory in the footwear and retail sector.

The selected candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor and customer relationships, ensuring product availability and visibility in the market, monitoring field sales activities, and supporting business growth through effective sales planning and execution. This role requires strong field sales experience, distributor management exposure, leadership skills, and the ability to work independently in a competitive market environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Territory Management

  • Manage sales operations within the assigned area to achieve business targets.
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and service quality across the territory.
  • Monitor market performance and identify opportunities to improve sales growth.
  • Maintain regular field presence to support customers, distributors, and sales teams.
  • Ensure timely execution of sales plans and promotional activities.

Distributor & Customer Relationship Management

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and wholesale partners.
  • Support distributor performance and ensure smooth coordination of sales activities.
  • Address customer concerns and provide timely support to maintain service standards.
  • Build strong business relationships to improve market coverage and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Field Operations

  • Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve required sales results.
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure field sales teams follow company standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Prepare and submit timely sales reports, market updates, and performance information to management.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
  • Provide accurate information to support management decision-making.
  • Maintain reliable records and updates using relevant systems and reporting tools.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a professional qualification such as CIM / SLIM.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in sales or a related field.
  • Experience in FMCG, footwear, retail, or wholesale industries is required.
  • Experience in Distributor Management is required.
  • Knowledge of MS Office packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with a computer-integrated environment or sales information system will be an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a performance-driven mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and English communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional field presence and work effectively in a competitive market.
  • Candidates below 38 years of age are preferred.
