Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as Senior Executive / Assistant Manager / Manager – Business Development & CRM. This role focuses on driving business growth, managing customer relationships, and enhancing sales performance within a fast-growing logistics and transportation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline across key sectors
  • Conduct regular field visits to engage potential clients and expand the customer base
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to enhance retention and satisfaction
  • Present sales performance, revenue, customer pipeline, and growth strategies to management
  • Utilize CRM systems to track leads, manage customer interactions, and improve conversion rates
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities
  • Drive customer engagement initiatives and support digital transformation in CRM practices
  • Ensure achievement of KPIs related to revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
  • Professional qualifications such as CIM or SLIM will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or CRM roles
  • Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets in a competitive environment
  • Good knowledge of logistics operations and customer lifecycle management
  • Proficiency in Sinhala and English is required
  • Highly motivated with a results-driven mindset
