Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead – GenAI with a strong background in Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to lead AI/ML engineering projects within a software development environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced AI solutions that enhance user experiences, improve operational efficiencies, and support innovation across business and technology functions. This role requires strong hands-on AI/ML engineering experience, technical leadership, project delivery capability, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

AI/ML Engineering & Solution Development

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Generative AI models and solutions.
• Build scalable AI/ML solutions aligned with business needs and technical requirements.
• Apply Agentic AI frameworks and methodologies to develop intelligent and adaptive AI systems.
• Ensure AI solutions are reliable, efficient, and suitable for production environments.

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead AI/ML engineering projects from planning to implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration and enhancement.
• Ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Communicate project progress, technical outcomes, and results clearly to stakeholders.

Model Quality, Testing & Validation

• Ensure the quality and performance of AI models through testing, validation, and optimization.
• Monitor model performance and recommend improvements where required.
• Apply software engineering best practices to AI/ML development processes.
• Support continuous improvement of AI model accuracy, scalability, and usability.

Research & Innovation

• Conduct research on emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Use research findings to guide project direction and improve AI solution design.
• Stay updated with advancements in Generative AI, Agentic AI, NLP, computer vision, and machine learning.
• Recommend new tools, technologies, and methods to strengthen AI development capabilities.

Mentoring & Team Guidance

• Mentor and guide junior engineers in AI/ML development best practices.
• Provide technical direction and support to engineering teams.
• Promote knowledge sharing, responsible AI practices, and strong engineering standards.
• Support team capability development in Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of overall experience, with strong experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Strong focus and hands-on experience in Generative AI.
• Strong expertise in Agentic AI frameworks and related methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or similar technologies.
• Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in AI/ML domains.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision will be preferred.
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices and bias mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and guide teams through AI solution delivery.
