Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures. This role focuses on delivering efficient data solutions, enabling analytics, and supporting business intelligence initiatives in a dynamic technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation
• Build and manage scalable data architectures using modern data platforms
• Work with large datasets to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability
• Develop and optimize data workflows using Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics and engineering teams
• Ensure efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks
• Implement best practices in data governance, security, and compliance
• Provide technical guidance and support for data-related initiatives
• Continuously improve data engineering processes and frameworks

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4.5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience in ETL processes and data pipeline development
• Expertise in Snowflake or Azure Data Factory is essential
• Strictly data engineering-focused experience (profiles focused on Data Science or BI will not be considered)
• Experience working in cloud-based data environments is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and modern data stack technologies
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Flexibility to work in shift-based environments based on roster requirements
