Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Assessor – GOTS Textile Exchange to conduct audits and ensure compliance with global textile sustainability standards. This role involves working closely with clients to assess, verify, and support certification processes related to GOTS and Textile Exchange standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in textile audits, strong knowledge of sustainability standards, and the ability to deliver accurate reports within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Textile Exchange audits (GRS, RCS, OCS) in line with applicable standards. Ensure compliance with GOTS and Textile Exchange requirements. Prepare detailed audit reports and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with clients to support certification and sustainability goals. Deliver audit reports within agreed timelines. Perform on-site audits and document reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Textile Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an assessor in GOTS / GRS / RCS / OCS programs.
• Strong understanding of GOTS and Textile Exchange standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong audit, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to conduct on-site audits and client assessments.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of Transaction Certificate (TC) processes or social compliance auditing will be an advantage.
