Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide accurate financial insights to support business decision-making. This role involves handling financial reporting, budgeting, and operational finance within a dynamic logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors for timely completion of audits
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Support pricing strategies and financial analysis for business operations
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure financial accuracy of stock movements
• Manage treasury functions including banking, cash flow, and exchange monitoring
• Prepare financial reports and present insights to management
• Support operational teams to achieve financial KPIs

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification in CA, CIMA, or ACCA is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a related industry.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of SLFRS and IFRS accounting standards
• Good understanding of taxation laws and regulatory requirements
• Experience in ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
