Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Senior Executive / Executive – Bonding to support product development through bonding technology and adhesive applications within the apparel manufacturing process. The role focuses on developing bonded products, conducting testing during sampling stages, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the production lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with technical, quality, and production teams to improve bonding methods, resolve technical issues, and support the development of innovative garment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct testing for different adhesive and glue qualities to determine appropriate bonding techniques based on fabric characteristics.
• Perform wash tests and peel bond tests during the sampling stage to verify bonding conditions and ensure product durability.
• Coordinate with adhesive suppliers to recommend suitable adhesive solutions and obtain required reports.
• Prepare and share bonding parameter sheets and passing values with production teams to guide operational processes.
• Develop improved bonding methods to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with industrial engineering teams to optimize bonding operations and streamline processes.
• Develop bonded garment concepts and innovative product options to strengthen the product portfolio.
• Communicate bonding-related feedback, limitations, and technical directions with quality and technical teams to enhance garment standards.
• Support supplier development and maintain communication regarding adhesive requirements and technical inquiries.
• Assist production teams in implementing effective bonding techniques during manufacturing.
• Address bonding-related technical issues and provide complete technical information to manufacturing facilities.
• Maintain skill matrices for team members and collaborate with HR and development teams to plan training programs for skill enhancement and career progression.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a relevant manufacturing or textile development role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety practices within apparel production.
• Strong technical understanding of bonding processes and adhesive applications.
• Effective project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
