Role Overview

The main purpose of the role is to manage booking documentation, customer coordination, vessel scheduling, and export operations within the Commercial Department.

The position supports liner operations by handling customer requests, issuing CROs, coordinating shipments, and ensuring regulatory compliance in shipping documentation and export processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive booking/CRO requests after rate and vessel confirmation by Sales.
• Check space allocation and empty container availability.
• Liaise with clients, agents, and slot operators on operational queries.
• Issue and send CRO with vessel details and cut-offs; create CRO in Dubai Trade.
• Handle DG (Dangerous Goods) shipments as per regulations.
• Prepare and update weekly vessel schedules.
• Prepare export load list for each service and share with feeder operators.
• Cross-check export details with local and port systems and update records accordingly.
• Prepare weekly reports and share with management.
• Create bookings in OAS system and update Export Booking in Excel.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification

• GCE O/L & GCE A/L.

Professional Qualification

• ICS UK or specialized degree in Logistics / Business.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Shipping / NVOCC / Logistics.

Specialist Knowledge

• Shipping / NVOCC / Freight Forwarding.

Computer Aptitude

• Email / Excel / Word / PPT.
• OAS System and Dubai Trade.
