Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Executive – Sales & Marketing to strengthen market presence and expand distributor networks within the optical retail sector.

The role focuses on driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, enhancing brand visibility, and ensuring operational excellence in sales reporting and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify new customer opportunities and strategically expand the distributor network.

  • Develop and execute market expansion strategies to grow territory coverage.

Sales Growth

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

  • Drive growth from both new and existing customer bases.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with optical shops and key decision-makers.

  • Ensure consistent customer engagement and service excellence.

Market Presence & Brand Visibility

  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure product visibility and monitor competitor trends.

  • Ensure visual merchandising materials are properly displayed in-store.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain daily and weekly sales reports.

  • Support trade promotions and special marketing campaigns.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Diploma in Marketing (Part qualification in SLIM / CIM will be an added advantage).

  • Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably within retail or optical industry.

  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Age: Between 25–35 years.

  • License: Must possess a valid riding / driving license.

  • Must be willing to be based in Colombo.
