Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Factory Accountant to manage financial and cost accounting activities related to factory operations. This role focuses on production costing, inventory control, budgeting, and financial reporting to support operational efficiency and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product costing including standard and actual costing
• Monitor raw material usage, wastage, and production efficiency
  
• Perform variance analysis for materials, labour, and overheads
• Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) costing
  
• Oversee inventory including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Conduct stock counts and reconcile with system records
  
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation in line with accounting standards
• Prepare monthly factory performance and cost reports
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes
• Monitor factory overheads and analyze cost variances
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
• Support internal and external audits
  
• Collaborate with production, stores, and procurement teams
• Maintain accurate data within ERP systems

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Professional qualification such as ACCA / CIMA will be an added advantage
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or factory accounting

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and production finance
  Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  
• Good communication and coordination skills
