Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Marine Surveyor to conduct dynamic inspections and assessments of vessels and cargo. This role involves ensuring compliance with international standards, preparing technical reports, and providing expert guidance to clients while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and inspections on vessels, including hull, cargo, machinery, and marine structures.
• Perform damage assessments, pollution evaluations, and pre-purchase inspections.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations for repairs, refurbishments, and compliance.
• Assist in loss prevention and risk management for marine operations.
• Ensure adherence to international regulations and industry standards.
• Analyze structural integrity and safety measures for ships and marine engineering projects.
• Provide consultancy on marine engineering, cargo handling, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, delivering professional advice and solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in marine surveying or related engineering departments.
• Professional qualifications in marine engineering or certifications in marine surveying preferred.
• Strong knowledge of international regulations, IMO standards, and IACS procedures.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments under pressure.
• Proficiency in English (knowledge of Tamil or other regional languages is an advantage).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
