Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting. This role involves overseeing accounting processes, supporting management decisions, and maintaining strong financial controls within a dynamic operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage accurate financial records and accounting systems
• Process and record financial transactions with proper documentation
  
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts
• Monitor income, expenditure, and cash flow activities
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations
• Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting
  
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities
• Maintain financial transparency and accuracy across operations
  
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes
• Assist in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Part-qualified or fully qualified in ACCA / CA / CIMA or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan financial regulations and compliance
• Experience in payroll, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills (Sinhala & English)
  
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
