Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and people-focused Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Talent Engagement & Development to support talent management, employee engagement, learning and development, performance management, and capability-building initiatives within a dynamic furniture supplier environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for driving employee development initiatives, supporting talent retention, strengthening performance review processes, identifying high-potential employees, and contributing to succession planning and leadership development across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Engagement & Development

  • Support the overall engagement, development, and growth of executive-level employees across the organization.
  • Design, coordinate, and implement talent engagement and development initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive programmes focused on employee retention, career progression, high-potential talent identification, and succession planning.
  • Support talent review frameworks such as the 9-box framework and other structured talent assessment tools.

Performance Management

  • Drive goal-setting and performance review processes across departments.
  • Support the organization in aligning business and departmental goals with individual job roles.
  • Ensure effective execution of mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, increments, promotions, transfers, and related performance processes.
  • Track performance review timelines and ensure required documentation and follow-ups are completed accurately.


Talent Management Strategy & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Assist in developing and implementing talent management and talent development plans.
  • Support the rollout of initiatives related to retention, career progression, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver talent management and development objectives.
  • Prepare reports, updates, and insights related to talent engagement, development, and performance processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in talent management, learning and development, employee engagement, or HR development.
  • Strong knowledge of talent management, talent development, performance management, and leadership development best practices.
  • Experience in designing or supporting employee engagement, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret employee and performance-related data.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and passionate about people development.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle HR-related matters professionally.
