We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Architectural Designer. You will be supporting product design, development, and testing by creating technical drawings, 3D models, and documentation, while collaborating with engineers and manufacturers to ensure that designs are feasible, high-quality, and meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare contract drawings, details, and sketches from conceptual design, through tender to construction documents.
  • Produce aspects of interior design, layout, and drawings in REVIT or/both AutoCAD.
  • Organize and maintain a design and Revit digital file database for each project
  • Successfully carrying out assignments on project design teams.
  • Facilitating and ensuring the quality of the drawings and graphic work produced for the team.
  • Create and understand custom blocks (Families) using REVIT software.
  • Prepare contract drawings, details, and sketches from conceptual design, through tender to construction documents.
  • Ensure REVIT and CAD standards, quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed during drawing planning and production.
  • Coordinate project and interior design drawings with client and multidisciplinary design team.
  • Work to meet project timelines.
  • Perform field verification and measurements and accurately transfer this information to the drawings.
  • Conduct site observation and/or inspection activities during design or construction phases of the project.
  • Keep up to date on new products, technologies, design processes and drafting techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of accessibility codes, life-safety codes, building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and associated industry standards.
  • A thorough knowledge of construction and contracting principles, methods, procedures, and practices, including contract administration relating to changes, claims and delays.
  • Offers and supports the creative technical design and detailing decisions aligned with project goals and understands their impact on cost, construction, sustainability, and other factors.

    Perform any other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical design or project documentation (ideally in architecture, construction, or interior design firms).
  • Advanced proficiency in design software, including Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in site visits, surveys, and field verification.
