About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support project execution from pre-construction through close-out.
This role is essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple active projects, maintaining documentation accuracy, coordinating stakeholders, and supporting field and office teams in all project phases.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and consistently delivers high-quality work.


Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Support Project Managers in coordinating design, construction, and inspection activities.
  • Help manage project schedules, budgets, and milestones across multiple projects.
  • Track meeting minutes, action items, follow-ups, and deliverables.

Technical & Administrative Support

  • Manage documentation, including submittals, RFIs, logs, and project correspondence.
  • Assist with permitting, expediting, and inspection processes to keep projects moving.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers, vendors, and city officials.

Field & Stakeholder Support

  • Assist in resolving field-related issues by gathering information, coordinating resources, and following up with teams.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication across all stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation at all times.
    

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in construction or project management (Owners Rep, GC, or Construction Management firm preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam and Procore project management platforms.
  • Experience supporting permitting, inspections, and expediting processes.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
  • Positive, resourceful attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
