The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager on behalf of our client, a market leader in the decommissioning and demolition sector. The role will involve working as part of a demolition team on site and helping to maintain excellent standards of delivery, compliance, health & safety and be responsible for assisting the delivery team working to stringent programmes and within rigorous project parameters. Duties will include:
-The ability to interact in a professional manner with senior representatives of our clients.
-An understanding of NEC contract conditions.
-Assist with the day-to-day management of multiple concurrent projects to ensure the successful delivery of the project against the project KPIs.
-Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with current Health & Safety regulations, including CDM regulations, & Environmental legislation.
-Assist with Production/Review/assessment of in-house/subcontractor RAMS.
-Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental and quality systems.
-Assist with the management of the project team ensuring that each member has a clear set of objectives.
-To produce project performance reports and participate in monthly financial / programme reviews for the projects the APM is involved in.
-To ensure compliance with all company commercial and financial procedures
-Complete contract documentation
-Establishing and agreeing price variations and final accounts
Key Requirements/Qualifications:
-Previous experience within the Demolition or Construction sector.
-Relevant Professional Qualifications (CCDO Manager, CSCS card).
-Achieved or working towards an HNC/HND/Degree or similar qualification.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Understanding of SHEQ regulations.
-Reliability and a good work ethic are imperative
-The capacity to work within a heavily regulated environment is essential along with the ability to be dynamic and flexible in application of procedures, policy and regulation.
-Full UK driving licence is essential.
