What you'll do:
As a Bookkeeper, you'll handle the daily financial operations for the clients, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Day-to-Day Transactions
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payment.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Track accounts payable and receivable.
- Payroll Processing
- Calculate wages, superannuation, and leave entitlements.
- Process Single Touch Payroll (STP) reports to the ATO.
- Prepare PAYG summaries and annual reconciliations.
- BAS Preparation (if registered as a BAS Agent)
- Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS).
- Calculate GST, PAYG withholding, and PAYG installments.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare financial reports (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet).
- Maintain compliance with ATO and Fair Work requirements.
- Assist with end-of-financial-year processes and liaise with accountants.
- Software Management
- Set up and maintain accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
- Integrate apps for invoicing, timesheets, inventory, etc.
- Liaison Role
- Communicate with clients, accountants, suppliers, and employees.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow, and forecasting if applicable.
Successful candidates must have:
- Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within an Australian context.
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping is recommended but not mandatory.
- Proficient in accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and tools like ApprovalMax, Hubdoc, and Dext.
- Great communication skills.
Work Arrangements:
- Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT
- Work Setup: Work-Onsite
- Office Location: Parkway Corporate Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
