What you'll do:

A Dynamics Business Central Senior Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics Business Central software solutions. They play an essential role in liaising between the technical team and the business stakeholders, ensuring that business requirements are accurately reflected within the system, and that the system enhances business operations.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Business Requirements Analysis: Understand and analyze the business requirements of the client to map their needs and offer solutions in the Dynamics Business Central context.
• System Implementation and Configuration: Configure and implement Dynamics Business Central based on client requirements. Customize the system to make it fit for purpose.
• Training and Support: Conduct user training and provide user manuals to ensure clients can effectively use the system. Provide post-implementation support to clients.
• System Integration: Coordinate with technical teams to integrate Dynamics Business Central with other software systems, as required by the client.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines, budget, and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope. Coordinate with different teams and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the implementation or operation of Dynamics Business Central. Propose workarounds when needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing systems and processes, and make recommendations for enhancements. Keep abreast with latest advancements in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and other related technologies.

Successful candidates must have:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are preferable.
• Proven experience as a Dynamics Business Central Functional Consultant.
• Expertise in various Dynamics Business Central modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service.
• Solid understanding of business processes and experience mapping these to Dynamics Business Central.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Strong project management skills with experience in managing multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.

The role may require some travel and out-of-hours work, as it often involves interacting with clients who may be located in different geographical locations and time zones.

This role demands a high level of business acumen, technical knowledge, and communication skills. As a senior consultant, it also requires the ability to take initiative, demonstrate leadership, and provide guidance to junior team members.
