What you'll do:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for efficiently managing tender processes, preparing estimates, and computing costs using software tools. Your role includes effective communication within the team, resolving discrepancies, and presenting accurate estimates. Additionally, you contribute to project success by recording actual costs, preparing reports for management approval, and maintaining a reliable cost database.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Following company processes to complete responsibilities correctly and efficiently.
  • Using clear and open communication within the team to assist with delivering work to the highest standards.
  • Management of tender/quote timeframes and due dates in line with the companys process.
  • Preparing work to be by documents.
  • Issuing tender/quote requests to subcontractors via Procore and/or email.
  • Reviewing and comparing tenders/quotes received from subcontractors.
  • Writing scopes of works for trades so an accurate review of quote inclusions can be assessed.
  • Assisting with creating new processes when required. Identifying labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, plans, specifications, and related documents.
  • Computing costs by analysing labour, material, and time requirements using Planswift and/or approved software.
  • Resolving discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
  • Presenting prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
  • Reviewing costs and recording actual costings post project completion.
  • Preparation of cost reports for Operation and by summarising information from completed and accepted quotation. This is to be approved by Managing Director prior to handover to OM & PM.
  • Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data on the company server at the end of every submitted revision.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Successful candidates must have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Procore, PlanSwift, and MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated competence in analyzing, estimating, strategic planning, and effectively reporting research results.
  • Experience in data center operations.
  • Ability to inform others and conduct requirements analysis.
  • Willingness to work-on-site Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
