What you'll do:
As the Senior Finance Analyst, you will be directly reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible for preparing accounting, statistical and other financial reports.
To excel in this role, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of accounting procedures and time management skills, as youll have to ensure our company meets strict deadlines. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate keen attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
General Accounting
- Preparing cheques for utility, tax, payroll, and other company bills.
- Writing daily reports, and preparing general ledgers, trial balance, and other financial statements.
- Preparing the end-of-month accounts including review of the general ledger, profit, profit & loss and reconciliation of balance sheet to supporting documents
- Month and Year-end Accounting closing support journal postings and reposting.
- General Ledgers Accounts monitoring and maintenance.
- Preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports
- Managing the Accounts Payable function and recording journal entries as required.
- Fixed assets creation/acquisition initial accounting set-up
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports for the purpose of analysis as required by individual clients.
- Uploading budget to client XERO file accurately.
- Processing requisition and other business forms, checking account balances, and processing purchases and payments,
- Advising other departments on best practices related to fiscal procedures.
- Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
- Analyzing financial data and assisting with audits. Reviews, and tax preparations
- Updating financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data in a regular cadence,
- Reviewing existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Keeping records and documenting financial processes.
Tax Accounting
- Overall responsible for tax, statutory and regulatory compliance to various government agencies which includes PEZA/BOI, BIR, SEC and PSA.
- Completion of assigned month-end closing following due dates & deadlines.
- Assisting in preparing financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control and project control.
- Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.
- Perform assigned work plan reconciliation, reporting and processing financial transactions.
- Participates in all Financial audit, internal audit and compliance efforts and activities.
- Performs ad hoc activities and tasks as may be required.
Successful candidates must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management or equivalent.
- Has at least 5 years of solid experience in accounting and tax compliance.
- Experience with Audit firms and using Xero Accounting Software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic taxation laws, rules and regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Work Arrangements:
- Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
- Work Setup: On-site - Be part of a collaborative and energetic team in a professional office environment.
