What you'll do:
As a Australian Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for supporting multiple clients across various industries. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing support to the finance team. Each client may have slight variations in process requirements, so flexibility and attention to detail are essential.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Upload invoices and receipts to Dext
- Allocate invoices and receipts in Dext according to each clients specifications
- Conduct data entry of bank account transactions, allocating invoices, receipts, bills, and payments per client requirements
- Reconcile all bank, credit card, and loan accounts
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts
- Process standard payrolls accurately and on time
- Identify and report unusual or inconsistent financial activity to the manager
- Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reconciliations
- Prepare accounts for BAS/IAS lodgment (to be finalized by the manager)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client accounts in an organized manner
- Update and maintain personal timesheet regularly
- Ensure client and company confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Comply with internal policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members and contribute to a positive team environment
- Complete all work assignments in a timely and efficient manner
- Take initiative on other activities or ad hoc tasks as required
Successful candidate must have:
- At least 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role
- Strong proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and experience with Dext is highly preferred
- Strong reconciliation and data entry skills
- Solid understanding of payroll processes and BAS/IAS reporting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
Work Arrangements:
- Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
- Work Setup: On-site work arrangement.
- Location: Parkway Corporate Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
