What you'll do:
As Finance Manager, you will lead the Finance team and act as the key commercial finance partner to the business, driving financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting that supports decision-making at the project, department, and company level. You will oversee financial systems and processes, ensure strong governance across compliance and transactional functions, and lead the team based in the Philippines, acting as the main contact for the client team working with our Host Employer, Integrated OS. This role works closely with the Finance Director and reports to the company's directors.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Financial Analysis & Commercial Contribution
- Lead monthly and project-level financial analysis, providing insights that inform commercial and operational decisions
- Own management P&L reporting by service stream, with commentary on drivers and trends
- Lead cashflow forecasting and reporting, including daily updates and forward projections
- Drive project performance reporting and analysis across WSPs' various IT systems
- Partner with the Finance Director to improve systems, reporting methods, and forecasting accuracy
- Lead investigation reporting and ad hoc financial analysis as directed by the directors
Finance Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the overseas-based finance team, including performance management and workflow oversight
- Act as the main point of contact for the Philippines-based client team working with Integrated OS
- Collaborate on recruitment of overseas finance/administration staff
- Foster a positive, high-performing team culture
Systems & Process Improvement
- Own administration and optimisation of core business systems, including JobPac, FieldView, Lentune, Smartsheet, MS365, and Adobe
- Lead systems troubleshooting, user testing, and rollout of new systems
- Drive ad hoc systems projects: data migration, settings updates, security reviews
- Oversee financial data transfer from the SimPRO maintenance job system and job on-costs transfer process
- Oversee employee onboarding/offboarding across payroll and other systems
Governance & Oversight (Compliance & Transactional)
- Oversee monthly close processes and contribute to annual EOFY close and reporting
- Oversee general ledger management, chart of accounts administration, and EOFY reconciliations
- Oversee AR/AP ledgers, fixed asset register, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Oversee statutory reporting: BAS, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, long service leave, and WorkCover returns across all states
- Oversee un-invoiced jobs and overtime/non-job cost payroll reporting
- Provide backend oversight of the payroll system
Successful candidates must have:
- 5+ years of financial management experience, ideally with strong exposure to commercial finance, analysis, and forecasting, plus a formal qualification in business, accounting, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into commercial insight and influence decision-making
- Proven leadership experience managing a finance team, ideally including remote/offshore teams
- Strong systems capability: ERP systems, General Ledger, and experience with platforms like JobPac, SmartSheet, Field View, or SimPRO
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including building new financial report sets
- Solid understanding of compliance and statutory reporting requirements (to guide and review, even where day-to-day execution sits with the team)
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- CPA qualification highly desirable
- Comfortable driving system and process improvement initiatives
Work Arrangements:
- Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)
- Work Setup: On-site - Be part of a collaborative and energetic team in a professional office environment.
