Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive System & Cloud Administrator to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure, on-premise systems, network security, and end-user environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience across AWS, Windows Server, network security, and enterprise collaboration platforms, while ensuring high availability, security, and performance of critical systems.

This role requires someone who can operate independently, proactively resolve issues, and contribute to infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & AWS Administration

  • Manage and maintain AWS services including EC2, ECS, and RDS.

  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and availability.

  • Handle backups, scaling, security configurations, and troubleshooting.

  • Support containerized workloads using ECS.

Server & Systems Administration

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).

  • Perform server patching, updates, monitoring, and performance tuning.

  • Ensure system availability, disaster recovery readiness, and backup integrity.

Network & Security

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot FortiGate firewall policies and security rules.

  • Monitor network security, VPN access, and traffic filtering.

  • Support secure access control, endpoint protection, and threat mitigation.

Google Workspace Administration

  • Manage Google Workspace users, groups, permissions, and policies.

  • Handle email security, access management, data retention, and audits.

  • Support identity and access management best practices.

End-User & Windows Support

  • Provide Tier 2/3 Windows technical support for laptops, desktops, and business tools.

  • Troubleshoot OS, software, device, and connectivity issues.

  • Support onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and user access setup.

Monitoring, Documentation & Automation

  • Monitor infrastructure health and proactively resolve issues.

  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Assist with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).

  • Participate in infrastructure improvement and modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in Infrastructure, IT Support, or Systems Administration.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS).

  • Solid knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.

  • Experience managing Google Workspace Admin Console.

  • Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewall configuration and security policies.

  • Strong Windows troubleshooting and desktop support skills.

  • Experience with networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, VLANs).

  • Experience managing and supporting VOIP systems such as RingCentral or similar enterprise telephony platforms.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or automation tools.

  • Knowledge of backup systems, disaster recovery strategies, and monitoring tools.

  • Familiarity with Linux servers.

  • Relevant certifications such as:

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps

    • Microsoft / Windows Server

    • Fortinet NSE

    • Google Workspace Administrator Certification
