Our client is currently looking for a SAP Hana DBA to join their team

Permanent I Cape Town

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years as a SAP Basis
• Must have an understanding of SAP backend technology example: SSL, DMZ, API, Solution Manager, HANA Cockpit, OSS support and SAP Maintenance planner
• SAP Netweaver component will be an advantage
• MUST have basic Linux system admin skills: proficient bash, ssh, file system layout and core file system locations, and core tools like grep and vi
• MUST have basic SQL skills including data definition (e.g. CREATE), data manipulation (SELECT/INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE)
• Strong understand of database structure/theories/principles and practices
• Hands on tuning and troubleshooting experience
• Experience to optimise code on native Hana
