Introduction

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting asset management functions, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, and maintaining accurate inventory records in line with public sector standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain asset and inventory registers
  • Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures
  • Conduct asset verification and reconciliation processes
  • Support procurement and asset acquisition processes
  • Prepare reports on asset movement, status, and audits
  • Ensure adherence to governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in asset and inventory management (preferably in the public sector)
  • Strong understanding of PFMA and public sector compliance requirements
  • Experience working with asset management systems
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
