Field Sales Executive - Bakery ingredients and supplies (Modderfontein, Johannesburg)

Our client, a leading supplier of wholesale bakery ingredients and supplies to bakeries, food manufacturers and top retail brands, is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join the sales team. As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in your designated territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and secure new sales
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to clients
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet business objectives
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities
  • Attend trade shows and events to represent the company and generate new business leads
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports and forecasts

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in field sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel within your designated territory as required
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Must have own reliable vehicle (fuel card forms part of CTC)
