Job Purpose:

To hunt and exploit sales opportunities to service the strategic growth targets of the

Organization by promoting the complete product portfolio to our customers, ensuring

that Sales budgets are achieved, and growth opportunities are maximized. In- depth

knowledge and experience in the beverage industry and a strong technical knowledge of

bottling plants.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Form an integral part of the company s Southern Africa Sales Team, making sure that the

sales targets are achieved.

Promote the sales of Products including new machines, spare parts, rebuild/

exchange programs, retrofits, IT solutions, consumables (KIC), overhauls and SLAs.

Secure order intake through strategically planned engagements that may require input

from respective product champions to offer comprehensive product solutions to

designated customers.

Grow the potential market for company s products by following up on leads for new

customers and proactively finding new customers.

SOLUTIONS BEYOND TOMORROW

Create opportunities and maintain the CRM database system to ensure business

continuity and accurate forecasting.

Liaise with clients regarding products enquiries, prepare quotations and

obtain samples, provide solutions and determine pricing quotations of items specified.

Initiate received orders and build the client relationship by keeping them informed of

the status of their orders and ensure deadlines are met.

Facilitate communication with the internal departments and the customer,

control all client concerns relating to products and accounts as well as

closing out- of the orders by ensuring customer satisfaction.

Be involved in special projects through assisting in the co-ordination of internal and

external communications with the client

Travel frequently to specific client locations within the Southern Africa region and

perform product presentations and attend monthly SSP meetings and relevant project

meeting

Qualification, Experience

Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Sales or Marketing

National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related

Engineering qualification

Minimum of 5 years technical experience in the Beverage Packaging industry

preferred

Minimum of 3 years Technical Sales Experience

Must have the ability to negotiate contractual issues
