Temp Metrology Technician

I am urgently sourcing a Metrology Technician to fulfill the following responsibilities:

- Conduct dimensional measurement of vehicle components to ensure conformity to drawing specifications.

- Conduct detailed measurement and analysis to aid the part approval process for both internal and external supplier parts.

- Provide dimensional analysis and problem-solving skills to successfully resolve production concerns and enhance overall product quality.

- Conduct dimensional approval of vehicle components to ensure successful release at the correct quality levels during relevant PEP milestones.

Minimum Requirements:

- National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

- A minimum of 5 years of metrology measuring experience (Tactile or Optical).

- A minimum of 5 years of experience with measuring software (PC-Dmis, GOM, Polyworks).

- Offline and teach programming experience with CMM facilities.

- Advanced computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

- Working knowledge of CAD software (Catia preferred).

- Understanding of CMM maintenance and TPM.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings.

- Experience in designing and building measuring fixtures.

- Sound understanding of the vehicle manufacturing process, including Press Shop, Body Shop, Assembly, and purchased parts manufacturing.
